One of the basic requests that is often asked is “How do I add an image to my post or page?” Adding images has become a very simple task with the recent WordPress releases. It’s just a simple matter of drag-and-drop after clicking on the Add Media button. Today we will focus on how to add images and edit the image within the WordPress editor.

1. Login to the WordPress Administrator
2. Open a Page/Post
3. Click on the area where you want to add the media
4. Select the media you wish to use, then click on Insert into Post.
5. Click on Insert into post
6. Click on Save Draft/Publish, or Update in the bottom right hand side of the screen

How to Edit an Image in a Post

1. Login to the WordPress Administrator
2. Open a Page/Post
3. Click on the Image that you wish to edit
4. Click on the Pencil icon in order to edit the image
5. Edit the Image
6. Click on the UPDATE button
