In this HostPapa tutorial, we show you how to restore a Joomla! backup made with phpMyAdmin
Restoring a backup is important if you need to recover from data loss. Log in and go to MySQL databases. Click on the new database. Give it a name and create it. Find the database that you have just created and restore the file to it. This allows you to test the restored database without risking damage to your actual site.
