In this HostPapa tutorial, we show you how to create additional FTP accounts in cPanel.

An FTP account is mainly used for uploading and managing files on a website. When you sign up for web hosting your account will already come equipped with an FTP account, but if you have other users you can create other accounts so you don't have to share your cPanel information.

You can start creating a new FTP account by scrolling to the "Files" section of your cPanel dashboard and clicking on the "FTP Accounts" icon.
