WordPress includes menus that you can easily modify within the interface. One of the options with the menus is the option to add a custom link. This tutorial shows you how to create this item within the menu along with explaining the considerations to think about when you creating these links.

How to create a custom link:

1. Login to the WordPress Dashboard
2. Click on "Appearance"
3. Click on "Menus"
4. Select the correct menu location (as necessary)
5. Select "Custom Link" from the menu options
6. Type in the URL that you want to use for the menu item
7. Type in the Title of the menu item
8. Click on "SAVE MENU" in order to save any changes that you have made.
