In this how-to, you’ll learn how to pass the process using the ‘Add a CNAME record’ validation method if your domain is using BasicDNS, PremiumDNS, FreeDNS, or web-hosting nameservers.

Please note: Disabling the "Hosting services" option in "Profile" - "Billing" - "Auto-renewal" does not turn off the auto-renewal for the EasyWP hosting, as it would do for any other hosting plan from Namecheap, because EasyWP stands alone as application. The actual process is described in the second part of this guide.

Ensure to copy the CNAME value without a dot at the end, as using the value with the dot at the end may cause issues with the certificate installation.
