While the document data model allows development teams to quickly iterate and evolve their applications, self-managing a document database can become time-consuming and challenging to scale. Built with a cloud native architecture, Amazon DocumentDB (with MongoDB compatibility) is a scalable, highly durable and fully managed enterprise database service for operating JSON workloads. Amazon DocumentDB interacts with the Apache 2.0 open-source MongoDB 3.6 and 4.0 APIs so you can use the same MongoDB application code, drivers, and tools as you do today, without having to worry about managing the underlying infrastructure. In this session you will learn about how Amazon DocumentDB is uniquely built to power enterprise applications and best practices when using the latest Amazon DocumentDB open source tools and utilities.
