Organizations are moving their database applications to open source database platforms like PostgreSQL. However, for those running Microsoft SQL Server the migration process can seem daunting. Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL is a new capability for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL-Compatible Edition that enables Aurora to understand commands from applications written for Microsoft SQL Server. This session will introduce Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL and walk-thru the process to migrate applications from Microsoft SQL Server to Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL using Babelfish
