This is the forth session on the CFM enablement program. In this session we will focus on EC2 Spot Instances, which are spare EC2 compute capacity that you can use for up to 90% off the On-Demand price, and can be interrupted by EC2 when it needs the capacity back. We’ll show you how to design your workloads to be Spot compatible, so Spot interruptions won’t impact your application’s performance and availability. Spot Instances are a great fit for containerized workloads, stateless EC2 applications, Big-Data processing, dev/test and CI/CD, High Performance Computing, and more.
