SiteGround has its ups and downs each year. So, I decided to dig into their service to find out if they're still the king of web hosting for beginners.

In this SiteGround review, I decided to look into how well they compare to similarly priced options on the market that also target beginner webmasters as well as cheaper alternatives that might offer desired results for a lower price.

The biggest selling point of SiteGround is its 1-year "trial" period that's available for $2.99/mo instead of the regular $17.99. That's a 9 time difference in price. After your year is up, their files don't get deleted, locked, or removed, you can renew your plan and enjoy the service or take your files and host them wherever you want, you're always in control.

But leaving SiteGround would mean you're leaving their easy-to-use beginner-tailored tools like a custom optimization tool, easy installers, and their fast infrastructure.
