You see Bluehost ads everywhere, everyone and their mother is promoting Bluehost as the #1 web hosting provider. But are they still worth the hype in 2020? Well, my Bluehost review focus on just that! I'll test every aspect of Bluehost and let you know everything you need to know before buying.

#1 Bluehost Pricing
Bluehost is offering plans that start at $2.95 a month. Not sure if this is cheap or expensive? Well, it's right in the middle for "starter" plans when it comes to web hosting.
In this Bluehost review, I've compared their prices to other major providers for 2020 and the pricing model that Bluehost uses is pretty standard. You get a cheap first deal, and the price increases after the first term ends. Their pricing plans are also yearly, while they advertise monthly prices. If you're strictly interested in monthly prices I recommend InterServer.

Performance
I have to be completely honest here, Bluehost didn't focus on upgrading their server specs in a whole year. While they were at the top in 2019, starting 2020 their performance isn't the best.
But while that SOUNDS offputting it really ins't major concern for around 80% of website owners. Think of it like this, you debate about getting a car that has the top speed of 180 or 160, but the most you'll drive at is 100.
What I mean about this in my Bluehost review for 2020 is that, while they do have slower speeds than other providers, a lot of users won't even notice the difference because they won't be pushing their plans to the absolute limit.
Bluehost instead focuses on good user experience, offering a lot of beginner-friendly features that help you get a better understanding on how to properly manage your website.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Bluehost Stability
While the loading speed was a bit slow when compared to others, Bluehost's stability has considerably improved from 2019 to 2020. In my Bluehost Review 2020, I've monitored their service for a whole year and it only reported downtime of 10hours. This shows that Bluehost has an uptime of over 99%, 99.8% to be exact.
When you're paying less than $3 for your web hosting plan monthly, having 99.8% stability is incredible.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Free Stuff & Features
As this Bluehost review showcases, while the speed isn't incredible Bluehost actually offers a lot of "bang for your buck". You get plenty of freebies and extra features as a core part of any web hosting plan with Bluehost.
For example, every single plan includes unlimited Free SSL certificates for every one of your domains. They can even be imported from other providers, not necessarily bought on Bluehost.
You also get a free domain with every purchase for 1 year. After that, you have to pay the standard price for a domain around $5 to $10. Having a domain name included with your hosting purchase is a HUGE DEAL. Because you can't start a successful website without having a proper domain name
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
What to Expect?
In my Bluehost review I try to showcase as much of their control panel as possible. In fact, they use a mixture of cPanel and their own custom solution.
Using the Bluehost control panel you can get pretty much everything that you need to get done while managing your website. Because all of the simple, most used functions like email, website management, and security is baked into the core Bluehost website dashboard.
But at the same time, you can click on the "Advanced" tab and get into a standard cPanel where you can manage domain names and other crucial features of your website.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Do I recommend it?
Yes, as my Bluehost review already covers I think that this web hosting provider is an excellent choice for beginners. As long as you won't be pushing the limits of your web hosting plans and you're just looking for a cheap, reliable, easy to use, and "hand-holding" solution. Bluehost is excellent!
