In this session we will learn how LGS has built a flexible batch processing engine that serves multiple business teams across the company. The system can collect data from multiple sources through AWS DMS, Amazon API GW, AWS IoT Core and SFTP and provides prebuilt flows for the most common tasks, a management web interface and a streaming processing layer based on Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics. The different stages of the data are stored on a data lake built on Amazon S3 and the consumption model is based on Amazon Athena, using the AWS Glue Data Catalog and federated data sources.
