Navigating your WordPress dashboard

As with other software or tools, even for WordPress, you must know and understand the controls and settings properly. Only then you will be able to get the best out of it.

However, it can be quite daunting to look at the WordPress Dashboard – also referred to as the WordPress control panel or the WordPress backend. But learning WordPress isn’t that difficult. You just need to understand a few basic things.

To navigate the WordPress dashboard, follow these steps:

1)Log in to your WordPress website's dashboard.

2)Once logged in, you will see the dashboard interface, which is typically divided into several sections or panels.

3)The left-hand side of the dashboard contains the main navigation menu, which provides access to all the major areas of your website, including posts, pages, media, comments, appearance, plugins, users, tools, and settings.

4)To access a specific area of your website, simply click on the corresponding item in the navigation menu. For example, click on the "Posts" link to create a new post and then select "Add New".

5)Some areas of the dashboard may have sub-menus or additional options that can be accessed by hovering over or clicking on the main menu item.

6)You can also customize the dashboard by adding or removing widgets or rearranging the panels to suit your needs.

7)Finally, if you ever get lost or need help, you can always click on the "Help" tab in the top-right corner of the screen to access WordPress documentation and support resources.
