AWS Backup announces general availability support for Amazon S3. Customers can automate and centralize backup operations using a single backup policy for their applications that store data in S3 and other supported AWS storage, database, and compute services as well as hybrid workloads. In addition, customers can leverage AWS Backup to monitor and report on their organization's data protection compliance status for organizational and regulatory needs.
